Heart healthy diet

So recently diagnosed with atherosclerosis . Need to cut out fat in my diets was told to go rv mediterranesn Diet. Anyone know where to go to get heart healthyv recipes or Mediterranean recipes

    Op, you can really nail down the ingredients you want for a recipe. We have no idea what you like or don’t like.

    Its not that simple. Most fats are your friend. Consult a nutritionist.

    I certainly agree it would be beneficial to get hooked up with a dietician for your situation. Mediterranean diets tend to have a good amount of fats from fish, and a lot of olive oil. Most importantly, the Mediterranean diet is an amalgamation of several counties and regions that have varying diets (italy vs spain as an example).

    In a general concept, lots of fatty fish and lean proteins, whole grains, fruits, veggies, high quality olive or avocado oils, and limited ultra processed foods.

    Hi all ,im new to this calorie counting. ,hubby has made home made soup do i have to count every ingredients calories thata goes into it !!

    To be totally accurate in your calorie count, yes, you need to include all ingredients. You can easily do this by entering the soup into the recipe builder.
