    It was harder to exercise with cramps but I still exercised. You may have to slow down the pace a little if you're hurting or find some alternate, less-strenuous exercise for that time, but I wouldn't go the whole week without exercising unless you're just in too much pain to move.

    i have found that while on my period, i actually lose some of the pms and cramps by working out. so many times i haven't wanted to get on my bike while on my period, but found that after i reached my destination i simply felt better overall.

    sometimes i might go a little slower, but i still go. that's the point.

    if the shred is too intense, just take a nice walk. it really helps the cramps in general.

    No, your period isn't a reason to not work out. But, I know once in a while the first day of it sucks all life out of me. There's nothing wrong with skipping a day and getting that rest. When I've had that crappy energy day, I've just picked up the next day. It's life and that's how it goes.

    So, you didn't do the full thing yesterday. Try again today.
