BMI confusion - help!

Personally, I never used BMI to select a healthy target, as I would look a bit unhealthy. I found my existing body fat, aimed to keep my lean mass and picked a target that put me in the lean and healthy range of body fat.0

And to the OP, I apologize for hijacking and derailing this thread. BMI is probably fine for women in most cases, but almost never for active men that carry any amount of muscle.0
