Protein from one source

I know the best way is a varied healthy diet. BUT I've been on this 0% non-fat plain yogurt kick for quite awhile now and am finding that is the one source of my protein for the past couple of months. Funny thing is, I'm getting so much more protein in my diet now than I was before.
So, I guess my question is, is it a bad thing to eat so much yogurt(about a qt. a day) and okay to limit sources of protein?
Thanks!!

My understanding: dairy is a complete protein, it supplies all the essential amino acids. Therefore, you won't run into protein problems by getting most or all of your protein issues from dairy like you might if you were trying to get it through a single source of most plant-based proteins.
The secondary question would be: is the yogurt crowding out anything else that you need? If not, I personally wouldn't worry about it.
(But is it really the ONE source of your protein? Typically we're getting protein, even in low amounts, from things like vegetables, grains, nuts/seeds, etc. If you're meaning that the yogurt is your sole HIGH protein food, that makes sense, but if you're not getting protein from ANYTHING else in your diet, then you'll probably want to add some variety just because it will be very difficult to meet your nutritional needs if you're restricting so many of the other foods that I mentioned -- but I'm pretty sure that you aren't).12 -
Glad someone is doing this. My goal over the winter is, gulp, 2-3 cups of lactose-free yogurt (like skyr) a day. Since you haven't expired like sour milk, I'd say you'll be fine. So far, I'm at 1-2 cups.
It's a great way to get some protein quickly (especially since, in my case, I'm not big on red meat more than a couple of times a week but in small quantities)0
