Calorie Counting

I have a question . Being new to this app I'm wondering if it is ok to include 5..2..5 diet . Would I lose weight quicker ?..ie Two days of 500 calories and the rest of the week on !200 calories .

    The minimum you should be eating is 1200 calories a day. If you are going to do 5:2 you shouldn't be eating less than 8400 calories a week. ( I did 1200×7)

    Weight loss is caused by being in a calorie deficit. Doing 5:2 won't help you lose weight any quicker than simple calorie counting.

    How much weight are you trying to lose?

    I'm curious which part of 5:2 appeals to you? Being able to eat whatever you like on 2 days of the week?
