If you expect nothing and get nothing then you're never disappointed.
What about you Lyndsey? What good things happened to you this weekend??
The weather has turned absolutely gorgeous, mid Septemberish just as it should be; leaves are turning and falling, my dd in NC called this a.m.
Other than that, it was kind of an exciting in a scary sad kind of a way weekend. But not going into it because we're talking about good things, right??
Dang, just got yogurt all over my keyboard.3 -
@ReenieHJ, I got to spend time with my cat and I also got to help my uncle.2

What's your cat's name?
We had several cats over the years but everybody always made a comment about our last cat's name, Elwood. As in Elwood Blues.
Nice of you to lend a hand to your uncle! Makes a body feel good to help others out, doesn't it?1 -

It's Monday. Of course nuthin' good comes from being a Monday.
Actually, my Monday was a whole lot better than yesterday. Every day is a gift. Some just shouldn't be unwrapped. Or maybe rewrap and regift it.1 -

Everyday is just one day closer to Death's Icy Grip.
Have a wonderful afternoon and evening !!4 -
@ReenieHJ, my cats name is Tortellini. My uncle has a bad back, bad knee, and a bad collar bone so I help him all the time.๐4

This weekend I got to support a local Indigenous artist by buying some beautiful and well made masks.
I also got some extra snuggles from my dog who usually sleeps at my feet (thankfully tbh) but Saturday morning she came right up to my chest and doughnutted beside me and we snoozed lazily till it was a better time to get up.
Just some good little things that made me happy.5 -
We FINALLY used the fancy (borrowed) contraption to clean our dryer vent pipe. I got to play bass guitar and sing on our worship team. But most of all, my wife and I went to a fondue restaurant to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. Yup, she's stuck with me (and I with her) through it all.7
