Do you weigh chicken raw or cooked for calories? (Which is more correct cooked or raw)

    I weigh it raw and uncooked, and also weigh any sauces, oils, or seasonings with calories. I’ll cut it into pieces and track “my” peice in the pan. Don’t bother weighing anyone else’s, unless I’m intentionally planning on leftovers for lunch.

    If it is boneless, I weigh it raw. If it has bones, I weigh it cooked (after I cut it away from the bone). There are cooked and uncooked entries, and if you choose the correct one for when you weigh it, both are fine.

    You can do either, but log the same as you weigh. For example, if its cooked, search "cooked (insert meat)". I prefer cooked for practicality; I cook a whole family pack of chicken, put in a container in the fridge and then I can either meal prep or have bulk meat to make fit my macros end of the day.
