Spinal fusion and weight loss

Please join my newly created group Spinal Fusion. I had spinal fusion S3-S5 last year and I no longer have back pain. But I do have foot pain especially walking and then after walking. I ride a bike outdoors and indoors (Peloton). This lack of walking much and not changing my caloric intake has caused me to not lose weight and hold on to the 40 pounds I gain while suffering with severe back pain and was mostly stuff on my couch. It's my goal to lose 40 pounds. Please join me if you are struggling too.

Just wanted to say you got this! I had L4-S1 fused 13 years ago. I got to my largest after that fusion and quitting smoking for it, it took me a long time to get my act together but I eventually started walking in water and using the recumbent bike I'd bought after surgery. Yoga and strength training help a lot too, keep those hip flexors loose, it helps a lot with walking/taking steps.1

Hey Everyone,
4 weeks out of lumbar fusion and missing my daily intense workouts as I follow the Docs recovery orders. So why not read about everyone else’s intense workouts until I can get back at it.1
