Not enough Cals

It seems like i just can't get more than 1500 calories in a day. That seems to be my average. What are some suggestions for some things that I can add to reach my daily goal? I'm sure this is why I'm losing so slowly.

I work a desk job & have access to a semi full kitchen, fridge, sink, cutting/prep space, microwave, so preparing food isn't a problem.

    no fat free items, eat protein with every meal, carb's are not the enemy, eat some snacks that are higher in calories
