I gained 34kg = 75lbs HELP

Hello everyone.

I'm J.J, I have tried many diets, I have also been in the gym many times for months and yes, I lose weight but after some months I return to the same weight as before.

I am 25 years old and my self esteem is on the ground.

I have 2 children and I cannot play with my children because of my weight.

I work more than 15 hours a day in front of the computer (at home).

Being fat has caused me a lot of depression and pain. I just wish someone would help me lose weight so I can be a better parent.

    Welcome, You can do this!!!
The biggest thing is to start tracking what you eat. It takes a lot of trial and error to find what works for you. This so important for long term success.

JJ start out with a simple change to your diet. Simply start by cutting back on some carbs first. It can be less pasta or less bread or simply stop drinking sugary sodas. Eating lower carbs and eating more protein will help you feel full and you will lose weight. Take baby steps.

You've just shared your deeper reasons for doing all of this and that puts you in the best position to see this through. The day-to-day can grind us down but if we use it - we can grow.

Pain is the precursor to change. Each of us has to build the ability to get fit under real life conditions or none of this will stick. It starts with one step so make it small. Start with your 3 daily meals. You don't ever have to start over again and again.

Every day you have 3 meals. Each meal is your brand new opportunity or clean slate to track your data points. Weigh and measure your foods. Babies and adults thrive on routines. You know that because you're a good mother. In the beginning, don't overthink your meals. Get some standard meals going that you can throw together no matter where you are. Get in that groove. On a one day at a time basis, this routine will build a momentum. You'll get a fire and passion going behind you. Let the daily grind eat your dust. You will not be deterred. You're going to pace yourself and keep going and going.

There's no such thing as the perfect set of conditions or perfect day to start. It's right now. I hope you come back.
So many start and they feel overwhelmed and disappear. Stay connected.
