I knew it would be dramatic, the sun has been golden red all day. So I brought my camera on an evening walk.







I know nobody will believe me, but that's not a Photoshop trick. The smoke (from the California fires) must be settling into horizontal layers. I used a 300 mm lens to embiggen it.
