Garmin Connect not linking steps

Can any tell me why only the steps I do on a walk register as calories on MFP and not the ones i do throughout the day. They go over but 0 calories gained

What activity level did you set?

And on your MFP Food settings - do you have Negative Calories enabled?

My non-exercise day pitiful steps of under 4000 register no extra calories, but negative.
Actually, on exercise days they do to.

So when you say "they go over" what does that mean?

Here's the useful info to look at, appears different on app, but have to press and hold the Adjustment line for more details.
If I did not have Negative enabled, that would be a 0 of course.

For 'they go over' I think she meant the # of steps go from Garmin to MFP.

Ahh, makes sense, step count matches the total on Garmin - thanks.

OP, info above does apply then since Steps is merely a figure like glasses of water - no math done with them on MFP, merely for display and logged.
