Do I try and use heart rate numbers or not?

You can improve your fitness without any of this. People have for thousands of years! 🙂
Our newer gadgets for fitness can make it easier, but aren't necessary. This heart rate stuff is really about training, not general fitness. Or it's about geeking out over numbers.1
