Cutting out refined sugars and processed foods works wonders. For rapid short term weight loss keto is effective but has negative effects long term. Also, I've read that intermittent fasting encourages certain cellular behavior that aids weight loss. The thing to remember with fasting is that you are just changing the timing of when you eat and NOT starving yourself/decreasing the amount of food. I would stay away from metabolism boosting supplements because most are bogus.
