Nike+ shoe sensor - how long did it last?

I have had my shoe sensor since early June, and I'm already getting a message that the battery is low and may need to be replaced. I am hoping I won't have to fork out $20 every 2-3 months for a new sensor.
How long before you had to replace your sensor?
BTW, I have logged about 160 miles with it.

Apparently the sensor battery has a life of 1,000 active hours. So I called Nike.com customer service - they are sending out a "courtesy" replacement. Hopefully I will have it in a day or two, before my current sensor dies.
So it's all good.0
