anyone here do chair dancing?

i have leg issues (knees, ankles and quads), so some days i can't walk vigorously, dance or ride a bike. this drives me crazy, but i've learned not to push it as it makes things worse.

then a couple weeks ago, i tried chair dancing, and to my jaw-dropping surprise, after some experimenting, i was able to keep my heart rate up to what i shoot for with my other cardio. who knew? :smiley: even using larger leg motions doesn't hurt my knees, and i've learned to stop pointing my toes so much so the ankle swelling has stopped happening. i've developed different routines for different songs/ types of music, and it's getting to be fun, too.

does anyone else here do chair dancing? any suggestions or stories to share?
