Lucky number 7

I began my health journey in December 2012 and completed it in October 2013... it’s now my 7th year of maintaining my goal weight! But “luck” has nothing to do with it, maintaining my weight has been the product of hard work and dedication at least 80% of the time because no one is perfect so I do not follow strict guidelines, simply eat less and move more, that’s literally it. I’ll never quite achieve my super slim dream body because I’m naturally too curvy but I’m happy with my shape and just being the best version of myself I can be, perfection is not necessary and being healthy is my number one priority. At age 46 I’ve never felt fitter and healthier in my life!
(I’m 5’11”) 209 lbs to 167 lbs...

You look great. And we are the same height (5'11") so that is particularly inspiring for me. I am aiming for ca. 165 lbs (5lbs to go); seeing your photos I just hope I look like you do when I get there!1

Thanks! I was not happy with my curvy figure when I was younger but I’ve learned to love it!0 -

You're the barefoot runner! My forest trails here in the NW would tear up my feet, but I've loved seeing your posts over the years My oldest daughter is very much into a no-shoe lifestyle (except when she has to for work). She loves to go out in nature in bare feet.
