I pack lunches for my husband to take to work but i honestly have no clue what i should be packing for HIM. I try to pack a bit from every food group and healthy foods. He has had this new job for a year now and has been doing really good at losing weight and gaining muscles. I know he wants to be toning his muscles a bit. He works long hours doing hard work about 6 days a week. Should i be packing higher calorie foods? high protein? etc.

Sorry if its a mess to read i am tired and have a lot on my mind

My general rule of thumb is a protein, veggie, and a carb. To give him energy though out the day he definitely need cabs. Carbs have gotten a bad wrap though the years, but you need them for energy and for your brain to function. The key is the right kind of carbs. Things like brown rice, quinoa, oats, and even fruit. I hope that helps a bit. Send me a message and I can help you figure it out.
