Step Up Challenge

I have created a challenge called the Step Up Challenge.
I created this challenge for myself and others as a FitBit challenge. All of the challenges will be based off of things the FitBit tracks such as, steps, distance walked, calories burned, etc ...
However, if you have any device that tracks steps and/or distance walked that's great. It does not have to be a FitBit.
If you are interested, please let me know and I will send an invite to the group.
I am looking forward to creating a group of friends that can challenge and motivate each other.
So, to keep things interesting the challenge will change a lot.
The first challenge will be a 1 day challenge. 10,000 steps or 5 miles in one day.
Those of whom do not have a FitBit but have a step counter, do the 10,000 steps.
Those of whom do not have a FitBit or step counter but have a way of track distance, walk 5 miles.
I double challenge those whom have a FitBit, or another means of tracking both.
I challenge thee to complete both! 10,000 steps and be certain it is 5 miles. If you have not hit 5 miles, keep going!
Thanks for reading, let me know if you want to try and keep up with us

Dang it! Day one of our group and I am sidelined by being sick. Doctor said no exercise, guess I'll have to pick up with you guys next week.:sad:0

I hit my 10,000 before I hit 5 miles and had to go for a walk.
If it were not for this challenge I would not have taken that walk. I was already tired after a long day at work.
I did manage both, barely, and I am beat. Time for bed.0 -
Did you try that detox?0

Yea, another member. I think we are almost 25 strong now.
I will send you an invitation to the group in a moment.
Right now we are doing a Mon-Friday Challenge (this week will require a little note taking/keeping track and you have 5 days to complete this - deadline is Friday night):
60,000 steps (averaging 12,000 a day)
100 flights of stairs (averaging 20 a day)
30 miles (averaging 6 a day)
50 very active minutes (averaging 10 a day)
Stay within your calorie goal and meet your requirements for water0 -
Count me in. I always love competing with my fitbit one. Feel free to add me as a friend as well.0

Hmmm. I've posted similar challenge (fitbit user challenge) few weeks ago. But count me in. I am struggling with calories intake.0
