Hi everyone!
Been reading the forums here since I joined and thought it was time I introduced myself.
My name is Felicia and I found mfp a few months ago as I was searching for some good methods for losing weight, and have now been using it every day to track my calories and get motivated by all the amazing success stories here! I have also been learning A LOT on eating healthily and exercising by reading all kinds of threads here on the boards, there are so many things that I had absolutely no idea about when I joined this website and I'd like to take the chance to thank all the people here contributing to such a great place for changing your lifestyle! Seeing a lot of progress pictures from women weight lifting has made me stop using gym machines and instead moved on to using free weights following a beginner's routine, which I now mix with cardio adding up to about 5 hours a week of exercise and it feels awesome even though I can't brag about being very strong.. yet.
Now, I've also been seeing a lot of threads about how motivating it is to have some friends to share your struggles and successes with so I thought I'd start getting a little active(r) here by asking you to add me if you want to chat a little and exchange motivation throughout this journey
I'm looking to lose about 30-35 kg altogether (around 70 lbs) and so far (since mid-end of june) I've managed to lose 3 kg.. so I'll be around here for quite some time. Oh and I'm Swedish so my food diary might be a bit hard understanding as I add most of what I eat in the - to me - easiest language.
So feel free to add me anyone who could use an extra friend!
