myfitness won't recognize my complete day because it is too low of calories. Should I eat even if not hungry to meet my caloric goal, or not?
Thank you for your advice!

You do not need to close your day. That is optional.

The idea is to hit around your calorie goal but it does not need to be today. You can add those uneaten calories to tomorrow or sometime later if you wish. If you are just starting out though you should not leave more than about 100 uneaten calories. The reason is until you get a feel for what you can handle you may accidentally go so low today that you get ravenously hungry tomorrow.

    How low is too low???

How many calories are you eating per day? Are you weighing and logging everything your eat?

I literally NEVER complete my day on MFP, so it certainly isn’t necessary for weight loss, but I find it concerning that you can’t complete it because your calorie count is too low (unless you can’t close it at all if it’s below: for example you eat 1200 but your goal is 1300 so it won’t let you close out). Idk how it works, since I’ve never even attempted to complete a day lol

I found that if my calories were under my goal more than a couple times a week then I didnt lose weight. I am not a breakfast fan but my body burns calories when I have breakfast within 1.5 hours of waking. It also helps me to get enough nutrients for the day.
