Beating the Cravings?? Help.

I'm trying to really watch what I eat, because I can't excercise as much as I would like. I am in a cast with a broken foot. But, today and yesterday I have had this uncontrollable urge to just go through the pantry. Im sure a lot of it is boredom, of being home watching TV. Up until now I had been doing decent watching what I was eating... but I don't know what got into me.
What do you do to beat the cravings? What do you do to ignore the bad cravings? Help. Any advice would be great please...

it has to come from willpower. For me, I think about how much more I want the fat to come off than I want to eat that thing I'm craving.
I know it's not currently a real option for you, but exercise *does* help curb cravings for many people. Maybe see if you can get a handbike to use while in your cast? Or do mostly upper body stuff at the gym?0
