My son likes them together. I usually put a bit of maple syrup.
I have never had the savory kind, would the bacon strips go on top? If so, it sounds good.

I chop cooked bacon and add it to the batter once I have it in the waffle maker. I like to add shredded cheese to the almost fully cooked waffle. I tried doing it the same way as the bacon ones, but the cheese tends to burn. They’re really good for a change!
