Who are some of your favorite actors, and what are some of their best movies/roles?

Edward Norton - Motherless Brooklyn
Jessica Chastain - Molly's Game
Daniel Day Lewis - There Will Be Blood

Not an actor, but...
Aaron Sorkin - everything. Absolutely everything.

    Joaquin Phoenix- joker
Daniel Day Lewis - everything he does
    Russell Crowe- gladiator
    Leo DiCaprio- basketball diaries
    Ryan Gosling - Drive
Jessica Chastain - zero dark thirty
    Charlize Theron - young adult
    Joseph Gordon levitt - inception

@Motorsheen - Hm, I’ve not seen anything he’s in. I’ll have to give him a shot.

    @forestfreek

Yeah, he's kind of a 'one hit' wonder.

John Wilkes Booth got the best roles...... because he had the best head shots.

One stand-out is Claire Danes in Homeland. Love that she played a deeply flawed woman and so convincingly

I can't see her as anything except Carrie.

I’ve tried watching her in other movies.. like this one movie where she’s a mom of a gender-fluid child, and I just couldn’t get into it. It was too weird to see Carrie in that role

Why is jeff goldblum so dreamy? I don’t understand my own reaction to him. His individual features are meh but as a whole he is off the charts hot

I want to believe it is an attitude or persona he exudes as opposed to his physical features that makes him attractive to a lot of people. I mostly enjoy nearly every role he's in, although I admit, he gets type-cast as "wise cracking science-y math dude" a lot, mostly because of Jurassic Park (and the Malcolm in the book wasn't described as NEARLY as attractive, lol).
