Just wondering if there is anyone else that has fibromyalgia, and trying to diet?

Looking for recipes that is quick for days when im having a flare, or ones that can be done in the slow cooker.

While I don't have FM, I do have issues that impair my ability to be high functioning several days a month.

One of my go-to's for when I'm not feeling up to much cooking is eggs - egg in an English muffin, scrambled eggs, fried eggs, etc.

My slow cooker meals tend to not be simple, but there are usually leftovers I can freeze and pull out for when I don't feel like cooking. You might find something that works for you here:

I have family members who like Mark Bittman's "How to Cook Everything Fast" and it may be available in your library system.

My wife had debilitating Fibromyalgia for around two years. She's now in remission, for the most part, due to dietary changes, supplements and ridding herself of environmental toxins (and some other changes).

I'd consider getting a lot of frozen plain vegetables. The more vegetables the better. Steamed vegetables, without all the garbage on them, are great for you. You could cook up lentils in advance and put them in the fridge to add to the vegetables. Bags of spinach are great.

What we found is that going gluten free helped her tremendously. She was also allergic to cow dairy. We cut out fried foods and cut down on sugar. It's very hard, but you can do it.
