Non Acidic Food Options

Looking for some tasty recipes which are on the low acidic side. For medical reasons I have been asked to avoid acidic foods as much as possible which eliminates are lot of my favorites.

I would think if you avoid obvious typical acidic ingredients such as yoghurt, buttermilk, vinegar, citrus, tomatoes you would be okay? Can you get the taste of citrus without the acidity by zesting the skin but leaving out the juice?
Meals that come to mind are
Grilled steak, oven fries, sauteed spinach.
Roast chicken, roast potatoes, roast root root vegetables such as carrot or parsnip.
Pan fried white fish on tinned borlotti beans cooked with mirepoix of celery, carrots, onion.1
