Sneezing and runny nose after running?

So I know this sounds really weird, but I feel like after I do my cardio on the elliptical I always have a runny nose. I also sneeze a lot after that. It seems to go away after a few hours, but with the cold coming and Covid still running ramped, I just wanna know if anyone else ever suffers from this problem? And if you do, do you have any clue on why this occurs? Thanks in advance!

I don't sneeze, that's unusual I think - but runny nose for sure, gets all my fluids running when I run. Could be a mild pollen allergy, and you are sucking in more air and pollen when you run? I've taken my 8 year old daughter out and a few runs and sometimes she gets the hiccups afterwards. Bodies are weird.

Try various nasal sprays, each one is a little different, or tablets. A decongestant tablet works best for me for swimming and a decongestant first works better for bike riding. Weird that a decongestant works for my runny nose, but it does. I often need an antihistamine too.

This has been happening to me since April. I have seen the doctor several times. Not much has worked. I just saw an ENT who gave me another nasal spray, let's see if that helps. Wish I could tell you how to get rid of it, I can only tell you that you are not alone.

It's called rhinitis. It can be cold induced, exercise induced, or allergy induced. I get all three. I carry a handkerchief on all my runs.
