Worried, as losing weight without counting calories...

I started counting calories here around 2 weeks ago. In the first week I lost 2 kg and the same thing happened in the next week, although I haven't counted my calories in the second week, as felt too hungry for this. However, my portions were definitely less than those I had before becoming active on here. I supposed I would gain some weight in this week but the opposite thing has happened and I have lost more. Why is it so? Is it normal? Just a small note, even though eating slightly more but increasing on salads and greens...

You don't need to count calories to lose weight. Your body doesn't know whether you're counting calories or not, it just responds to what you put in it. If you're eating more salad and greens and less other stuff, it's not really a surprise that you're still losing weight.0

If you're not counting calories how do you know that you are eating enough?
I would have thought that it was clear: not counting calories + weightloss = not eating enough to maintain weight
