Hi Ladies!
I am here newly expecting my 14th baby . I am Due June 2021. I have had lots of different experiences with weight gain in pregnancy and I would like to keep it to a healthy minimum this time. In the past I have gained between( 18 and 60 lbs ). The time is was 18 I was only 34 weeks along and I was obese due to the pregnancy before requiring 22 weeks of bed rest.. and gaining 60lb 😳. Before I became pregnant this time I was just 5 lbs away from winning my Heathly wager bet ( now paused) . So, I was doing well and had lost 40lb since my last birth.. I would like to stay in the 15-20 lb gain range this time but want to make sure I am getting good nutrition as I always deliver early and at least half the time get preeclampsia and bestest at some point.. Growing a healthy baby is my priority.
I would love to have a group here that encourages eachother and shares helpful tips and meal / snack ideas.

Hi! Congrats on the baby!
Unless you are already overweight, 15-20 is low for what you should be gaining. If you are in the healthy weight range, you should be aiming for 25-35 lbs. I totally understand where you are coming from though. With my first, I gained over 50 lbs. I am trying to stick to under 30 lbs for this one. I'm currently almost 14 weeks and have gained about 6 lbs so far.0 -

Yes, I am still overweight 178 my weight weight is closer to 130-150.. my Dr is fine with me eating between 1300-1800 callories I'm the first trimester as long as it is nutritional food.
I have already gained 5lbs without changing me diet so hormones are against me lol.. I just want to focus on nutrition. My Dr is good with my gaining between 15-30 lbs0 -
Ok that's great that you are working with your doctor on this! The first trimester, you tend to not move as much due to most women being so tired. I know at first, I was just wanting to eat EVERYTHING. Luckily, my appetite has settled down a bit and my energy is up a bit (but still not where it was).0

Is this your 14th baby ? Or was that a typo?
I say eat to your appetite - keep it to good sources of proteins, fats and tons of veggies. It's not the time to try and lose weight - neither is it time to binge eat (for two)
Be kind to yourself - it's a big job growing a human.

Yes, this is my 14th baby. I am going to try tracking this time purely for the nutrition of it. If I am able .. because this week nausea has hit and I am also exausted. I need a automatic eating plan where I am eating Heathly food but don't have to think about it all day.. I am going to present my diary more like a weekly menu so I will know what to eat each day.0 -
My 6 week pic..
