I'm Jessie. I'm almost 50 and I've struggled for the last 8 years with my weight. I have experienced very high-stress circumstances, financial struggles, and the pressure and isolation of being a solo mom. HOWEVER, I am deciding to treat myself better, to carve out time for my physical, spiritual and intellectual needs. I accept that processed carbs are NOT my friend and that I need to use my athletic body daily or lose muscle and flexibility as I age. HELP! I hear carbs calling my name. They are my weakness. I have 30 pounds to lose and I just want to enter the next 50 years fit, healthy and at peace with my body. My biggest challenge is homeschooling and working during this virus nightmare without a partner and with my dearest friends more than an hour away.
