Adding P90 to Exercise Log

Hi everyone! I have looked all over the forums and can not find how to add my P90 workout to my exercise log. If anyone has done it, for the Sculpt workout, it is a different set of activities. Has anyone figured it out that can help me?

Try using the UA Record app. It is also from UA (just like MFP) and syncs together. There, you can record workout videos like P90X and it will map over a calorie burn to MFP. Easiest way I've found to do it.

    Good luck!

I'm not familiar with your particular workout or the method above, but it sounds like it may be a good option.

If the above doesn't work, try "Calisthenics, home, light/moderate effort" or "Calisthenics (pushups, sit-ups), vigorous effort" whichever is more appropriate.

Ditto's to 2nd option, a specific named workout is nothing more than a slight variation of things that have been around for awhile.

I also recall those UA records tend to have exaggerated calorie burns.

Log both methods and see what is smaller. Not because that is always the correct direction to assume, but only because this came up before I believe and most of the long term posters weren't aware of this new method and it was clearly inflated to appear good when we started looking.

Oh, the Light or Vigorous effort is according to your effort - are you making it easy on you, or hard.

Just because the video has a routine method to make it easier than another option in the video, doesn't mean you aren't being vigorous on your end.
Light would be like if you could do 20 pushups before it got hard - and you only did 10.
If you can only do 10 and you did 10 - that's hard effort for you.
  • I didn't see that app (UA Record). Is it the same as Map My Fitness by UA?

Huh... you're right! I don't see it either.

Looks like they have a Map My Fitness app now I'm wondering if that's the replacement?
