I've been working my way through the many Jillian Michaels' DVDs and I'm on to the yoga meltdown now. As it should, it works up a good sweat, but that means that my hands and elbows slip in certain poses. Someone recommended a lululemon yoga mat, but I can't justify spending $50+ on a piece of equipment. I've also tried laying a beach towel over the mat where my hands are, but that doesn't seem to work for very long. Any and all advice will be appreciated!

You need a yoga mat. You can get them off amazon for like $20.0

Sorry, apparently I read quickly over that part. They make socks for barre classes that are no slip, they may make gloves too. I've never slipped on my mat, but I can't remember the brand.0

Sounds handy. Thank you0

No problem! I practice hot yoga, so I am always a sweaty mess in class. I found a bath towel and a face towel on top of my mat useful for me personally and I definitely had more problems slipping when I started practicing than I do now, so I think once you are able to find good hand placement for your weight distribution it helps with the slipping. Good luck hope the gloves help if you get them!0
