Has anyone tried any of the Ballet Beautiful workouts?

Hi everyone-- I've always been a huge Jillian Michaels fan at heart when it comes to home workout DVDs, but lately I've been seeing a lot of positive reviews, results, and feedback regarding "Ballet Beautiful" workouts (created by Mary Helen Bowers). There's one that's called Total Body Workout, and another called Body Blast-- I've read reviews on both and I've been looking into purchasing one just to switch up my workout routine.
I'm 5'0 and 130 lbs (with only about 8lbs to lose to get to my goal weight of 123), and I bulk easily when it comes to heavy lifting. And in Ballet Beautiful I've heard the workouts are supposed to tone without bulk.
Just wondering if anyone has tried these workouts? And if so, what do you think of them?

Never done this ballet workout, but many barre classes which are comparable. They are a great workout and work muscles that may not be normally used. I love Physique 57 dvds.
Also, you don't "bulk easily", it's probably just a water gain in the beginning. For me, lifting has leaned me out better than any exercise I have ever done.0 -
Ok, thanks for the insight
I suppose when I say "bulk" I mean that I notice that my limbs have become more muscular and it just looks different to me, rather than being "slimmer." My legs have become very muscular these past few months through exercise but I've also wanted to get slim and lean, too, so I guess it's all about finding a balance and being happy with your body.0 -

Unfortunately, if you don't have the genetics to be slim and lean, there's no exercise that will make you that way. I can eat 1200 calories and do ballet workouts but I will never be slim and lean - my body isn't made that way. I really do love barre workouts though. My legs are always on fire during them.0 -
I really love sleek technique. They do a ballet based workout. It's available online and to download.0

How long have you been using their technique? I started Ballet Beautiful two weeks ago. I like the results but Sleek Technique feels more like actual dance. How do the two compare in you opinion?0

I'm just popping in to say that ballet dancers are the freaking cutest, the way they all walk like ducks. Beautiful, sleek, tiny ducks.
Back when I was an apprentice, the ABT would take over the theatre every summer, but for a while we would still be coming in. Those were heady, distracted times! The cafeteria would be full of these magical creatures.0
