3 Recipes For Cooking Up A Scaled-Down, Low-Key Thanksgiving Meal

This was on the radio today, too late for me, my menu is set and I am all about tradition for Thanksgiving so the first two recipes don't do it for me. But I am definitely going to make the mini apple pies next month! They look ideal for prepping in advance, freezing, and cooking when needed.

Thanks! As you can see in the picture, the narrow tips of the hand pies tend to burn. Instead, I cut ready-made pie crusts into rectangles and wrap the filling like a burrito or a McDonalds apple pie. That way, it cooks evenly with no burned edges.
