Apple Watch and Recovery Time

My understanding is that recovery time is a good way to see if you are getting fitter, is My Fitness Pal in conjunction with an Apple Watch able to give a graphical display of improvement in recovery time?

    Your Apple Watch (or Garmin, or Wahoo) will give a recovery time based on what it assesses your fitness level as and how hard an activity was. It isn't something that MFP really tracks.

    Recovery time really won't show "improvement". There are plenty of other apps that track fitness/freshness based on cumulative training load.

    In the web version of MFP, under the "My Home" tab, "Check in" subtab, you can add measurements of your choice and have MFP graph them. (It works kind of like how it handles weigh ins.) That's all I know of, and I don't think the other app versions have this (but I'm not sure).

    Not sure what you specifically mean by "recovery", but if it's heart rate recovery (how many bpm lower when X minutes after finishing exercise), that would be a single number that could be tracked this way. Being a data geek, I've also used spreadsheets to track certain things, when I was training in a more structured way.
