Whatsup I'm Cory. This is me:
I weigh 190lb at a height of 5'9. I've worked out in the past but there always came a time where I got too busy or something else and drifted away from the gym.
I recently started training Muay Thai and BJJ. I want to eventually have amateur fights.
Besides putting on muscle and strength I want to train for function improving my athelticism for fighting, etc...
For me training is a meditative and in a way a spiritual practice. I want to be more consistent with it and not repeat the pattern of drifting away from training after a few months.
My abs are weak. I've started to do vacuum exercises to strengthen the transversus abdominus or whatever its called. Also I think I need to work on my shoulders because I haven't ever been able to bench more than 185lb and I can't do more than like 3 pullups.
I think I'm going to start posting updates to my training to hold myself accountable and make friends in the community.
