Hey everyone. My name is Doc (Nickname from the military). I found out about this site after I bought my FitBit Flex and it has proven to help me stay focused on what I eat and how much I eat which is something I never paid any attention to before. That's probably why I found myself obese at the age 50 with a BMI of nearly 35.
Well, now that I found MFP and am logging everything I eat, I've been able to drop 4 lbs already. What and encouragement! I have an office job so I found this app called FitBolt that reminds me to get up out of my chair every 30 minutes and walk around the office or stretch which is also helping.
Well, I look forward to the journey and keeping my eye on the prize of a thinner, healthier me. Thanks for reading.
