What is the most annoying gym problem you have? For me, it's having to carry my huge duffle around plus my work bag on gym days.

Smells like farts and b.o. so I decided not to go for nine months.2

These *kitten* masks are my most annoying gym problem.7

But you’re saving the planet and such2 -
Because of covid, kids aren't allowed in the gym anymore. No more kids room. Which means I can't go at all, since I can't afford childcare...7

I didn’t say I wasn’t wearing them. Regardless, its my most annoying gym problem.4

Coldness and darkness is the most annoying for me.
I need to restructure my routine and exercise space.3 -
Well... My gym is sadly lacking in weight plates. Really needs a couple 45s and some more 25s.
I complained to management, but she said more plates are not in the budget and to suck it up.
My gym is at home. I complained to myself.11 -
I sweat so much there’s no way I could do it. Since I mainly used the gym for cardio, makes more sense to work out at home or outside where there aren’t any people around. In theory. In reality I’ve gained a ton of weight and am super out of shape.4

Lack of adequate squat racks.
Improve adapt overcome

My gym partner keeps claiming his territory by slapping my *kitten*6

When I'm at the top of a deadlift and the dog suddenly decides to hang out at my feet.
I have to yell at her because I can't stay like that forever waiting for her to move. And then I feel like a mean Mama.
However the ultimate solution was to put new flooring in the basement which she hates so she never hangs out down there any more.5 -

My cat likes to snuggle by climbing onto my chest in the middle of a bench press. It doesn't work out so well for either of us.4 -
When I was going to the gym...
the most annoying thing was having people rudely stand in front of me, watching, and waiting for me to finish so that they could use the machine. Made me feel rushed.

Turn up the music, stare them in the eyes and go slower. Or just do what Caco said.2 -
For me though, people not organizing or putting the weights back where they got them. Gets old fast when trying to look for specific things.3

Darn right
It was a couple of weeks ago and I went to the gym late, late on a Sunday; like an hour or so before closing.
The place was darn near empty and I was lifting in the back of the building with nobody within 75 feet of me
I took off the mask and hopped on the bench and starting lifting.
It was glorious
It was magical
I was actually lifting and breathing
It felt like 2017 all over again
The roof suddenly opened and light appeared
It looked a lot like this:

When they leave the 100 pound weights on machines. I tell you what, I cannot lift those gracefully. 😂😂4

Way to many people with cameras and groupies to film their bad form and stupid moves.4

Leg day becomes a self imposed water boarding session.2 -

I feel like a heavy leg day with a mask on is hazardous. I almost passed out last time. (I’m pro mask btw)4 -

Yeah, for real. Once that surgical mask gets soaked it’s not pleasant and breathing becomes more labored. Hemoglobin probably increased for sure. 😄
I’m also not anti mask and I enjoy discomfort in training tbh. But after wearing a mask under a neck buff at work it gets old.

We nip this in the bud
Anybody who pulls out a smartphone and starts filming anyone else, other than themselves, gets called out (loudly) by several of the gym regulars
If they're filming themselves or friends to check form, that's one thing.
Filming another person without their consent is verboten.5 -

Agreed, trying to PR with a mask makes me about as crazy as people who don’t put their weights away.

That is a toss up for sure.0
