If you are up past midnight how do you track?

So this may sound like a stupid question but I have always been a little unsure about this the entire time I have used this app...if you track all day and then are up past midnight because of something like work or travel, if you eat something do you track it for "today" or "yesterday" since you have not gone to sleep yet?

Unless it's a meal, i just log it as a snack at the time I ate it.
It's not really that important. You can see if you ate 500cals over your goal one day, but 500 under the day before, and understand that it evens out.

It doesn't really matter too much because it does even out as mentioned above. However, I track it as yesterday. Unless I've gone to sleep I count it as the day before to make it easier and consistent for myself.3

I would log sleep to sleep but as I take a weekly view of things it wouldn't really matter.2
