    Whoa, this is quite the range of music on this picture. I don't consider myself a 'metal fan' per se, although I love a handful of bands on this pic. I can handle the Kyuss/Metallica/Dio/Ozzy/Suicidal Tendencies/Motorhead/Megadeth etc. and leave the Hammerfall/Pantera/Slayer/Lamb of God/Anthrax etc. to my metal-loving husband. I guess I like wussy metal. LOL

    Yeah. I wasn't going to say anything, but I dont' consider a lot of the bands on here metal. I love them, but metal has moved on from where it was when I was in high school, and when I listen to that stuff, I think a lot of it is quite tame compared to metal today.

    I have a scar above my right eye from getting hit in the face with a pipe at my first concert, which was slipknot. I got a back stage pass and signed drum head. Best night ever!

    My sister-in-law got a concussion and stitches from flying beer bottles at a Disturbed/Slipknot concert we went to a couple years ago. A few kids at that same concert got 3rd degree burns from some idiots lighting pizza boxes on fire and throwing them into the crowd. I stay the hell out of those concerts now. I enjoy my metal at home on my very nice surround sound system--turned up so all the neighbors can enjoy it with me.
