Making Greek Yogurt Taste Good In Dressings???

Hi there! I have tried Greek yogurt a few times.

I've had it in a green smoothie: delicious
a regular fruit and yogurt smoothie: way too tart
and I've tried replacing light mayo with Greek yogurt in my ranch dressing: yet, again, too tart.

I just found out I have somewhat high cholesterol and I need to cut back on some things....like mayo.
I make a lot of salads and make my ranch with light mayo, skim milk and hidden valley ranch dry mix.
I wanna revisit replacing the mayo with Greek yogurt, but I'm wondering if anyone has any recipes for it where it doesn't come out super tart, or if there's anything I could add that would cut the tart flavor???

Let me know!!! Thanks!

I always make my dressings from scratch, just as much as we need for any particular meal. I use greek yogurt all the time and to tone down the tart I put in a very small squirt of agave nectar. Sorry that's not very precise, but I just throw **** in and taste, no measure.

I think it tastes good as ranch dressing. You can sub it 1:1 with any recipes that use sour cream, that might give you some better recipes.

You should try making your own tzatziki, with greek yogurt, cucumber, mint, lemon juice, garlic if you like it, parsley or dill. I absolutely love it.
