Hello!

I figured it was time for a fresh start, I just finished a first round of physical therapy for my back and decided it was time to start getting the weight back off. A few years ago I managed to drop 65 pounds but of course I regained it.

now that I have some exercises, I’m going to start focusing on eating better. I did weight watchers before but it’s hard to stick to and my doctor wants me to do low-carb.

Between clamshells and monster walks, I’m motivated to keep going - crazy how getting moving without sharp pain encourages me to keep going  I’m hoping to get flexible enough to do some trail hikes and see about getting into rock hounding. There’s some interesting tourist crystal digs/panning mines that might turn into a vacation idea if I can physically do it.

I listen to a lot of non-fiction audiobooks mostly survival stories, history, true crime, and classics - and just started listening to the Welcome to Night Vale podcast. So I could always do with some more recommendations, etc.

Hoping to find some friends on here/MFP to share encouragements and chats.

Wishing everyone the best!
G
