How is a nutritionist going to help you build muscle? They focus on nutrition.
To build muscle, you need to eat sufficient protein, preferably be in maintenance or a surplus, and follow a progressive weight lifting program. None of those require the aid of a nutrionist. Maybe a personal trainer.
Also, remember building muscle is a timely process. A couple of pounds of muscle gained per month under ideal circumstances for men is the best you can realistically hope for.5 -
I know how to put muscle on clients. And nutrition is only the small part of it. Programming, intensity and rest is more important here. As mentioned, you should likely be looking to a trainer instead.
You could eat right in a surplus but if you don't train right, you'll just get fatter.

Another vote for a personal trainer over a nutritionist. (Plus you'd want a registered dietitian anyway - "nutritionist" can be fairly meaningless in terms of credentials/qualifications.)
I used to teach yoga in South Florida and was in and out of gyms plus belonged to a few over the years. I recommend against LA Fitness - they pay so little they do not attract well qualified staff. The one yoga teacher I knew who worked there considered it "seva" which in this context means volunteer work. I observed PTs there and was not impressed.
I was very happy with a PT I had at the Hollywood YMCA.
Do interview PTs and find out their qualifications and how long they have been in the business.4 -

Another vote for a good personal trainer...nutrition is important, but you put muscle on in the weight room. I've seen people with less than stellar nutrition put on considerable muscle mass in the weight room because they were running solid programming.4 -
Why would the location of the nutritionist matter?0
