Hi-I'm new to Fitness Pal. Is there no nutritional value to green tea? I make mine with infused tea leaves. I've been told that Green Tea comes with multiple nutritional benefits-not reflected when I logged it onto my food chart just now...

You can enter your own Food database entries...MFP will let you track Vit C and potassium (for instance) but not the B vitamins.

I would think you'd have to drink an awful lot of green tea to really make a dent in nutrition but if you want to enter your own entry you can add the Vit C, calcium, and potassium.

Do you mean the phytochemicals? You could make your own entries, I suppose.

I think there was a time when green teas were touted as weight loss aids. If you’re secretly crossing fingers for that, don’t hold your breath!

Kudos to you for carefully logging and thinking about it! First steps, small steps!
