These last 7 pounds...

First of all, make no mistake: I feel better than I've ever felt before in my life with regard to fitness. I feel strong, happy, and every day i wake up excited about being physically active.
I am 40 yrs old
5'10"
145 lbs (started at 151)
18-20% body fat (as measured by trainer at gym)
(started at 24% body fat)
My goal weight is 138, and to maintain fitness levels of body fat. I love circuits, lifting, eating well, and the entire lifestyle change that has happened over the last year.
But these last 7 lbs are very very difficult to shed! I have hovered at 145 for 4 weeks.
I log everything and really love using MFP. Changed by weight loss goal to .5 lb/ per week as i've seen that suggested.
I'm seeking any advice on other ways to deal with this. Is my goal weight a little low? If so how do I figure out my goal weight? I still definitely have a few lbs to shed, even with the drop in body fat. I'm not where I would like to be quite yet but am **so close!***
I'm not obsessed with the actual number, but i do have some more to lose for sure.
So....thoughts? tips? ideas? how did you lose your last 7 lbs?

I think you are too dead set on the number that the scale says, you're at my goal weight and 3inches taller, I know everyone has different bone structure and feels "better" at lower weights, but I think your body is telling you that it's done.
You can still lower your body fat percentage and look smaller/more fit without losing anymore weight according to the scale. I'd just dump it at this point and measure yourself instead.
There are a ton of resources in the forums on how to gain muscle and then cut fat, this will change your body composition. I've seen some pretty awesome befores and afters where people weigh the same or more, but look significantly more toned and smaller.0
