I was able to provide a nice Christmas for my family despite no one working since March. Thanks to some creative couponing, lots of survey points saved up and plenty of saved gift cards throughout the years.8

I was furloughed, and then made redundant early in the year. It was crappy at the time but it made space for me to search out a new job. One that I love much more, and is closer to home reducing my commute time.
I've also made it back to the gym this year and lost 6kgs/14lbs of the weight I gained during the Uk's first lockdown
I spent two weeks in isolation with my boyfriend and we still like each other5 -
I got transferred to a different school, after having taught for 12 years in my old one. (Our transferral sustem is crazy, so getting you be where you want to be is as if you had won the lottery). In practical terms, it means to change from a 1h30 commute to a 10 minutes walk (each way). I love to be able to sleep for an hour more in the morning!7

2020 was a rough one, for real, but I took charge of my health and lost 55lbs. I feel pretty proud of that!8
