Okay... pretty sure this has been brought up before. BUT I am confused about the calories in baby corn. I love it and eat it regularly.
I typically by Dynasty brand which has about 75 calories per can or so.
but I was looking at walmart and found this... which says it has 250 calories per can???
what's with that??? And who do I believe???

The amounts of sugar and carbs are drastically different. Sodium and fat are different too. What are the ingredients in the bottom can?0

It also has citric acid which the top can doesn't list.
Btw your profile pic always makes me want pancakes.0 -

Don't think the citric acid would add to the calories.

The Walmart has a much larger serving size, but it’s still out of whack.
Walmart is 226gr/serving and 250 cal per serving. That’s 1.1 calories per gram.
The other is 85gr/serving and 20 calories per serving. That’s .24 calories per gram.
Kroger brand is 130gr/ serving and 35 cal serving. That’s .27 per gram.
ASDA is 100/serving and 24 cal per for .24 per gram.
Something seems wrong with the Walmart label.

agreed. almost like they are basing the nutrition on regualr canned corn1 -
The Walmart brand of canned artichoke hearts is the same way. It's listed as twice the calories of other brands of the same thing. Wildly different. So I use the other brands amounts since it seems more likely to be correct (and in my favor, lol).3
