I have always been very healthy and didn't think much about weight. Even when I was pregnant I gained 72 pounds I lost it all by my sons 2nd birthday. When I had to lose a few pound periodically counted carbs and added protein. Use to visit the gym a lot with free weights being my favorite. UNTIL...............................MENOPAUSE! around the age of forty three I saw a slow increase in weight until I looked in the mirror one day and weighed a whopping 172 (normal weight 120) pounds! in the past three years I have struggled to lose 22 pounds. I swim three times a week 1/2 a mile laps and ride my bike there 2 miles. I have seen nothing I am at a stale mate. My dishes I eat off of have turned into measuring cups. I have had the blood work done everything is within "normal" range. Me and my Dr talked today so hopefully I can lose the next thirty pounds. I figure if I can document everything I eat and get the support I need may be the secret to my success. SO HERE I AM! :grumble:

    Hi and welcome!!

We TOTALLY get what you're going through!

I have NEVER been over weight, technically. I lost about 25 LBs about 10 or 12 years ago and kept it off no problem. Until 2 years ago. Now it takes all my effort to keep at my preferred weight.

Join that group. We will support you, and maybe even offer a few ideas you hadn't heard of.

Feel free to friend me as well. Cheers!
