Hi all, I've been on/off with MFP for many years, yet always find myself returning as it's probably the best way of maintaining a working knowledge of progress. Like many during lockdown, I've probably added more pounds that I care to admit, however I'm kicking forward with a new plan and new goals. While I intend to lose weight, I'm adding in a few additional challenges for myself this year, including the Wim Hof Fundamentals course and adding in a better fitness regime to help me achieve a Triathlon. 10 years ago, I turned 40 and in that time cycled from Lands End to John O'Groats (UK), Mizen Head to Malin Head (Ireland) and ran 2 marathons, 1 of which was sub 4hours which was a personal goal. Having just turned 50, I want new challenges and bigger improvements in my health and well-being, not just bringing my weight down. Anyway, just wanted to say hi and welcome any new friends who may have similar goals:) Happy New Year all!
