Hello, MFP! I'm back to make it my 2021 goal to regain my pre-pregnancy body - 120 pounds, dress size 0/2 and 26" waist.

This was me at 12 weeks postpartum. I was 162 lb the day before my birth and have been stuck around 132 pounds ever since.

I was only doing Ballet Beautiful for prenatal and postpartum workouts and dropped my Pilates training in March when the state went into COVID lockdown.

BB has been great for cardio and light toning, but I didn't feel the connection and focus I had with Pilates since I'm not trained in dance.

I kicked off this new year by treating myself to Pilates lessons & also got a Pilatesology membership! It's such a huge difference to be doing Pilates again. My two years of training prior to COVID really has been an asset with understanding how to use my body better.

I'll be posting my Pilates and Ballet Beautiful progress on my profile, as well as pics of recipes I make at home. Thanks for reading and I'm so excited to be back on MFP!

Feel free to add me!

Welcome!!! I did Pilates WAAAAY back when I was in college. It may not look like much, but it was HARD. Glad you're getting back to something you enjoy :)

I love mat Pilates. Haven’t tried reformer.

I love that you already have an exercise plan in place and are motivated!

Don’t forget to weigh and log food. That is the #1 way you are going to reach your goal. You don’t have much to lose, so set a reasonable, sustainable goal you can enjoy reaching. You clearly have enough sense not to set a 2lb a week rate and “buy into” the 1200 calorie program so many newbies seem to think they have to punish themselves with!

I can’t wait to see the updated pics!

Much success, and enjoy and lavish love on that new baby!
